Dudhia is a small place on the highway between Mirik and Siliguri. It is placed on the banks of Balason River. Dudhia is a very famous picnic spot amongst the people of Siliguri and the surrounding areas. The way to Dudhia from either Siliguri or Bagdogra is covered with forests and greenery on both sides of the road.

Lohagadh which is a few kilometers away from the Panighata village gives a clear view to a village in Nepal, Salakpur.
